Homemade Steak Sauce

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 1 Tbsp mustard
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup onion, chopped
  • 1 large clove garlic
  •  

METHOD

Combine all ingredients in a pan and let simmer (uncovered) for 20 minutes or until it turns thick, stirring occasionally.  Pour through sieve to remove onion and garlic. Let cool in refrigerator until needed.
